Ninth Inning Two Out Home Run Earns Series Win for Harvey Browne

Harvey Browne and CCUM split the first two games at Harvey Browne.  Harvey Browne used 4 home runs to win Game 1 by a score of 6-3.  CCUM won Game 2, 3-0 setting up a series deciding Game 3.

CCUM scored two in the top of the second to lead 2-0.  Harvey Browne cut it to 2-1 with a run in the fourth and took a 3-2 lead with two runs in the sixth.  CCUM tied it in the seventh and it remained tied until, with two out in the bottom of the ninth a Harvey Browne home run gave them Game 3, 4-3.

First place Portland scored two runs in the 1st, 3rd, and 7th innings to beat Christ Church 6-4 in Game One.  After Christ Church took a 3-0 lead into the 6th inning of Game Two Portland scored 3 runs in the 6th, 3 in the 7th, and 5 in the 8th and won 11-3.   Christ Church salvaged a win in Game Three  with single runs in the 2nd, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th innings for a final score of 5-0.  Christ Church's record dropped to 6-9.

St. Matthews Baptist beats Christ Church 2 out of 3.

After Christ Church took a 2-0 lead in the 1st inning, St. Matthews Baptist scored in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th innings (including 4 home runs) to win Game One 7-3.  Christ Church bounced back to win Game Two, scoring 2 in the 4th on a single, triple, single combination, and 3 in the 8th, this time on a single, triple, single, triple combo, to win 5-3.  St. Matthews had 2 home runs to Christ Church's 1 to win the rubber game 3-1.  Christ Church's record dropped to 5-7.
