After a single by Mike Peak to lead off the bottom of the first in Game Three, St. Matthews got on the board first with a HR by Homer in the second inning. Christ Church answered immediately tying the game on a single by Tom and a triple by David Stierle. A two out triple by Jerry Hinton and a lead off single by Tom failed to lead to a run. Christ Church again answered in the bottom of the inning. Mike P. singled and Leah tied the game with a triple. When Jerry followed with a single Christ Church took a one run lead. This time it was St. Matthews turn to answer right back with a two run home run by Derald after a single by Jim.
