Dartball Practice Opens 2013-2014 Season

The Christ Church Dartball Team opened the 2013-2014 season with a practice Monday night.  Eight team members were present including  new teammate, Tom Bennett.  We welcome Tom!

Another potential teammate, Jim Howard, was in the hospital with kidney stones.  It usually takes us two or three games before we start taking a toll on a teammate's health and it is usually a full year before anyone goes to the extreme of hospitalization to avoid practice.  Tim may turn out to be a prodigy!

We will practice again next Monday, August 26 at 6:30 in Room 005.

The league organizational meeting is next Monday, too.  I will leave practice at 6:45, go to the meeting and return with the season schedule.

If things remain as they have for the last few years, the league will begin September 9; games will start at 7:30 (except at St. Matt.); home practice begins at 7:00 (with the board usually available for early practice by 6:45); and away practice begins at 7:15.
