Although both teams had seven hits in Game One, Christ Church cashed in on four runs while Trinity could tally only one. Christ Church got all the runs they needed in the first inning, Leah Bennett singled with one out and scored on a two out single (RBI) by Andy Coates. Andy then scored on a single (RBI) by David Stierle. Christ Church failed in three attempts to drive in a run: after a single by Don Meredith in the third inning; after a walk by David in the fourth; after a single by Nick Peak in the fifth; and after single by Leah in the eighth. Trinity's run came in the third on a single by Steve, a double by Bonnie and a single by Bob. Vince Richards homered in the seventh and doubles by Vince and Nick (RBI) in the ninth closed out the scoring. The Final - Christ Church 4 - Trinity 1.
Trinity opened the scoring in the third inning of Game Two on a pair of home runs by Irv and Steve. In the fourth Tom Bennett singled and Andy tripled (RBI) but Trinity got that run back in the bottom of the inning on a home run by Bob. Andy singled with one out in the seventh; Mike Thompson reached on an error with one out in the eighth; Tom singled with one out in the ninth; but all three were left on base. The Final - Trinity 3 - Christ Church 1.
Trinity scored in the first inning of Game Threeon a single by Steve, a double by Bonnie and a single by Bob. That lead held up until the fifth when Mike Peak, Don Meredith (RBI) and Leah (RBI) went single-triple-single for a 2-1 lead. Vince homered in the sixth and in the seventh, Tom singled and scored in front of Vince's 2-RBI home run. Mike P added a two out triple later in the inning and David singled for a 6-1 Christ Church lead. But Trinity sent nine batters to the plate. Jill homered and Andrew singled before an out was made. But before another out was made, Tom homered (6-4); Bonnie homered (6-5); Bob doubled and Mary tripled to tie the score (6-6); Don doubled with the go ahead run (6-7) and Dennis doubled with an insurance run. Christ Church got non-run-scoring hits from: Leah- single in the first; Don- single in the third; Vince- double in the fourth; and Don- single in the ninth. The Final - Trinity 3 - Christ Church 1.
