Christ Church climbs above .500

For the first time this year Christ Church's record climbed above .500 with a 2 games to 1 series win against Portland Presbyterian on November 22.  It was CCUM's fifth straight series win.  CCUM led twice in Game 1, 2-0 in the third inning and 6-4 in the seventh.  But PPC scored 4 in the fourth, 3 in the eighth and 2 in the ninth for a 9-6 win.  CCUM won Games 2 and 3 by scores of 4-2 and 2-1 to raise their record for the year to 17-16.  Going into the series CCUM had closed to within 2 games of first place.
