NINTH INNING HOME RUN WINS GAME 3

With Harvey Browne leading Christ Church 5-4 in the ninth inning; with one out; with Terry Waddle on 2nd base after a double; Cletus Thompson's two-run home run gave Christ Church the win in game 3 and a sixth straight 2-1 series win.  After taking a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth, CCUM saw the lead disappear under HBPC's five run top of the fifth.  The lead was trimmed to 5-4 with a run in the sixth inning, setting up the game winning and series winning homer, only two outs from defeat.

Harvey Browne scored in six innings of Game 1 to earn a decisive 9-2 win, while Christ Church won Game 2 by a score of 4-1.

The league now takes its Christmas break with play resuming on January 3, 2011.
