CHRIST CHURCH LOSES FOURTH STRAIGHT SERIES

Portland Presbyterian beat Christ Church two games to one on Monday Night.  Christ Church dropped their fourth straight series.

In Game One both teams had six hits and Christ Church took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the seventh on a Bob Stone home run. But in the ninth, Portland homered twice, one with a man on base, to win 3-1.

In Game Two Portland took a 2-0 lead with single runs in the second and fourth innings.  Christ Church tied it in the bottom of the fourth on a two run home run by Clete Thompson after a Mike Peak single and took the lead 4-2 in the sixth on solo home runs by Mike and Clete Thompson.  Portland scored one in the ninth and Christ Church took Game Two 4-3.

Christ Church failed to score in Game Three and a two run fourth inning gave Portland a 2-0 victory and a series win.
