Christ Church Drops Three to Harvey Browne
After picking up a victory in the suspended game, Christ Church was able to hold a lead in only three of the twenty-seven innings played in their regular series against Harvey Browne.
Harvey Browne led all the way in Game One after Jim singled, and Fred W. homered for a 2-0 lead. Christ Church cut the lead in half nin the second on a single by David Stierle and a triple by Andy Coates. A single by Fred H. and a triple by Bill made it 3-1 in the third. In the sixth, a single by Mike Peak, a triple by Bob Stone and a single by David tied the game. There was no more scoring until the tenth inning when a single by Terry, a triple by Fred H. and a home run by Bill put away the contest. Christ Church went three up three down to end the game. Frank Preston added a triple; Mike Thompson a single; Mike P. a single; and Bob a sacrifice. The Final - Harvey Browne 6 - Christ Church 3.

It was 5-0 in the third on a single by Terry and a HR by Fred W. Richard's fourth inning home run put the lead at six. Christ Church got nine singles. It was Christ Church's turn to tie the game, this time in the fifth as David singled and Leah tripled. CHRIST CHURCH WINS SUSPENDED GAME
Before their regular series Monday night, Christ Church and Harvey Browne completed their game suspended from December 14th.
The game was resumed in the top of the tenth with Christ Church batting and the score tied 6-6. Dick Lutz led off with a triple and scored when David Stierle tripled. Harvey Browne failed to answer and Christ Church earned the win. The Final - Christ Church 7 - Hravey Browne 6.

SNOW CANCELS WATKINS SERIES
Snow on Sunday and cancellation of school for Monday, has cancelled Christ Church's series at Watkins as well as all the other league games for February 15th. The games will not be made up.

Christ Church dropped Monday nights series against visiting St. Matthews UMC.
St. Matthews opened Game One with a two run first inning on a single by Carl2, a triple by Ray and a single by Jim. Christ Church cut the lead in half in the second inning. David Stierle singled and scored on a triple by Dick Lutz and tied the game in the seventh on a single by Tom Bennett and a triple by David. The score remained tied through ten innings until a single by Ray and a triple by Jim put St. Matthews in front in the top of the eleventh. Christ Church failed to answer in the bottom of the inning, going three up, three down. Mike Peak added a pair of singles in the loss. The Final - St. Matthews UMC 3 - Christ Church 2.
St, Matthews also struck first in Game Two, this time in the fourth on a single by Ray and a triple by Jim. Christ Church took their first lead of the evening in the bottom of the fourth. Bob Stone led off with a double and scored on a triple by David. Dick and Mike Thompson followed with a single and triple for a 3-1 Christ Church lead. St. Matthews scored a second run in the eighth on an error by Freddie, a single by Glenn and a double by Carl2. Christ Church closed out the scoring, answering in the bottom of the eighth with a pair of runs on a single-double-single by Charles Smith, Tom and Dick. Christ Church Salvages Game Three
After dropping a pair of 1-0 losses, Christ Church rebounded to win the third game and avoid a sweep Monday night at St. Matthews Baptist.
In Game One, St. Matthews Baptist took the lead in the bottom of the first on singles by Bob and Jim and a double by Kelly. A lead-off single by Leah Bennett and a two out triple by Dick Lutz tied the game. But a couple singles by David Stierle and a single by Bob Stone failed to produce a run. A sixth inning home run by Kelly was all St. Matthews needed for the win. The Final - St. Matthews 2 - Christ Church 1.
