Game One was the most high scoring with 11 of the 17 runs scored on the night coming in Game One. After a single by Mike P in the top of first inning was wasted, Christ Church got on the board in the second inning on a solo home run by Mark Nethary. Greg tied the game at one with a third inning home run. Andy Coates doubled with two outs in the fourth but died at second. Mark's second home run in the fifth put Christ Church up 2-1. Also in the fifth, Don Meredith was left on after a single. In the bottom of the fifth Harvey Browne used a three run home run (Chris had reached on an error and Tom had doubled) to take a 4-2 lead. Andy homered to cut the lead in half in the sixth. Dick Lutz was left on base after a seventh inning single. Christ Church tied the game in the eighth as Mike P singled and Jerry Hinton delivered an RBI triple and, in the ninth, doubles by Mark and Nick Peak (RBI) put Christ Church up by a run. A home run by Tom sent the game to extra innings. After a scoreless top of the tenth, Fred homered with two outs to give Harvey Browne the win.

Game Two saw only seven hits (after 19 in Game One), with six of those coming from Christ Church. Mike P (in the first), David Stierle (in the third) and Jerry (in the sixth) singled but they did not advance beyond first base. .Mark reached on an error in the second. Christ Church's runs came on three solo home runs- Andy gave Christ Church the lead in the seventh and Jerry and Vince Richards added insurance runs in the ninth.

Christ Church could manage only one run in Game Three and were out hit ten to five. Mike P got Christ Church's first two hits when he singled in the first and fourth but five attempts to drive him in were futile. In the seventh, Vince doubled and reached third with two outs but died at third. Christ Church scored and took a 1-0 lead in the fifth after Vince reached on an error and Dick Lutz drove him in with a triple (RBI). That score held until the ninth. David led-off the frame with a single but he could not be pushed across. Then, after a scoreless tenth and top of the eleventh, with two outs in the bottom of the eleventh, Chris ended the game with a walk off home run.
