Christ Church scored in each of the the first two innings of Game One. A two out triple by Mike Peak and an RBI single by Tom Bennett accounted for the first run. A double by Mark Nethary was followed by a home run (2 RBI) by Nick Peak for a 3-0 lead. A home run by Bonnie in the third sliced a run off the lead but Christ Church restored the margin in the fourth on a two out triple by David Stierle and an RBI single by Don Meredith. Trinity tied the game with a three run fifth inning featuring a lead off HR by Josh and a two run HR by Steve which scored Don from second. A sixth inning home run by Andrew gave Trinity their first lead of the game and proved to be the game winner as there was no more scoring the rest of the way. Christ Church also got singles from Don, Tom and David. The Final - Trinity 5 - Christ Church 4.
Christ Church also got on the board first in Game Two on a second inning home run by Mark. David singled and was driven in by a triple from Don. Kyle homered for Trinity in the fourth; this turned out to be Trinity's lone run as well as hit of the game. Christ Church tallied two more runs both coming on home runs by Mark, one in the fifth and one in the seventh. Hits not figuring in the scoring for Christ Church came from Don (single; first inning); David (single; fifth and triple; seventh); and Mike Thompson (double; eighth). The Final - Christ Church 4 - Trinity 1.
Christ Church led all the way in Game Three. Don led off with a home run. Mike P singled and scored on a home run (2 RBI) by Mike T, also in the first. In the fifth, Christ Church sent eleven batters to the plate and scored seven runs-- David tripled; Don (RBI) singled; Tom (RBI) tripled; Mike P (RBI) singled; Mike T (RBI) tripled; Mark (2 RBI) homed; and Nick homered. Andy Coates homered in the seventh and a single by Don and a triple by Mike P in the eight completed the scoring. David added a triple in the second and had a second triple in the fifth and Tom singled in the third. Three home runs accounted for all of Trinity's runs. Dennis got one in the sixth; Bonnie's came in the seventh and Mary chipped in hers in the ninth. The Final- Christ Church 12- Trinity 3.
