In Game Three neither team scored until the eighth inning.  Christ Church put the lead-off man on in four innings with singles-  Mike P in the first; David in the third; Jerry in the fourth; and Leah in the sixth.  But each time Christ Church failed to come up with the hit necessary to produce a run.  In the eighth, Helen homered for the games first run and, in the ninth, home runs by Barry and Kelly were followed by an error for Barb and a home run by Homer for a 5-0 lead.  A double by Tom and a single by Jerry with no outs put runners on the corners.  Two outs later Mike T (RBI) singled for Christ Church's only run.  The Final - St. Matthews 5 - Christ Church 1.
